For this project, I setup my sound level meter next to a consistently traveled road to measure sound pressure levels over an extended period of time. The equivalent noise level (Leq) over half an hour was 67.9 dBA. The loudest, median, and background noise levels (L10, L50, and L90) were 71, 67, and 56 dBA, respectively.
